WMF

WMF - Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik. The original company that evolved into WMF was established by Daniel Straub in 1850. WMF was established in 1880 by a merger between Straub & Sohn from Geislingen and Ritter & Co from Esslingen. By the start of the first world war there were more than 6000 workers with branches of the company throughout Europe.
