Royal Doulton Bone China Wild Pansies Lidded Jar

This dainty bone china lidded jar is decorated with the Royal Doulton pattern titled “Wild Pansies”. It is an unusual Art Deco shape. It has a white background and four sprays of blue and yellow pansies and some tiny pink flowers and green leaves scattered around the outside of the jar. It also has bright gilt trim on the edge. The little dome shaped lid has two sprays of pansy buds and green leaves on it. The tip of the finial has a gilt trim. The bone china date number 12 indicates that it was manufactured in 1939. It is in excellent condition with no damage and rings very well.
Measurements: Height including lid – 3 ¾ inches (9.5 cm): Diameter – 2 ¾ inches (7 cm).
