Minton Two-handled Urn

This beautiful bone china two-handled urn is decorated with four panels on a white background. Each panel has a pattern of cascades of pink roses and green leaves. The lovely Minton blue divides each panel. The top rim and lower edge are also coloured blue. The handles are trimmed with bright gilt as are the edges around the rim and base. The backstamp indicates that the piece was introduced between 1891 and 1902.The gilt is slightly worn on the handles and on the lower edge of the urn. Otherwise it is in excellent condition and rings true when tapped.
Measurements: Height - 5 3/4 inches (14 cm): Width top - 3 inches (7.5 cm): Depth top - 2 inches (5 cm): Weight unboxed - 6 1/2 oz (185 gm).
