This dainty metal encased oval mirror is advertising French perfumes. The cover has an embossed head and shoulders of a young maiden. The cover slides open to reveal a mirror. The back of this has the names of four perfumes:

Asprey Mother-of-Pearl PenknifeAsprey Mother-of-Pearl Penknife - $95 
This slim mother-of-pearl penknife has a large and small blade. Each blade is marked Asprey. The Asprey firm was founded in South London in 1781. The family expanded the business and moved to premises in New Bond St. London in 1847 which it still occupies.

Asprey ScissorsAsprey Scissors - $125 
These two scissors are of different sizes. The smaller scissors have very pointed blades and were presumably used for embroidery while the larger pair would have been used for ordinary sewing. Each is marked Asprey 166 Bond St.
