Sampson Mordan Nib Pen and Mechanical Pencil

This beautiful Sampson Mordan pencil and pen combination has an etched foliate design barrel. There is a quill or nib holder and a mechanical pencil each advanced separately by button slides. It is marked S Mordan & Co. It also has the engraved name James Henderson on the inner barrel. S Mordan and Co. specialised in mechanical pencils and pens and the firm was in business from 1815 to 1941. It is in excellent condition with no damage.
Measurements: Length closed - 2 1/4 inches (5.5 cm): Length extended pencil - 4 1/2 inches (11 cm): Weight - 1/3 oz (14 gm).
