Mechanical Pencil

This engine turned retractable pencil is extended by using a cast slide. The finial has a citrine stone set into the top and unscrews to open a chamber for spare leads. This pencil is considered to be silver dating from the late 1800s or early 1900s but it has no makers or other marks. It is in very good condition with no damage and slides well.
Length extended - 2 1/2 inches (6.5 cm).
