Royal Winton Little Bo Peep Nursery Ware Cup and Saucer

This cute earthenware cup and saucer are decorated with a scene from the nursery rhyme Little Bo Peep. It features a cream background and Little Bo Peep in a blue dress and pink bonnet holding a crook. She is standing under a tree looking around for her sheep. There is also an illustration of a little lamb sitting on the grass on the other side of the cup and saucer. The rims of the cup and saucer are edged with bright gilt as is the handle of the cup. The backstamp was used between 1941 and 1950. They are in mint condition and ring true when tapped.
Measurements: Height cup - 2 3/4 inches (7 cm): Diameter top cup - 2 1/2 inches (6.5 cm): Diameter saucer - 4 1/2 inches (11 cm).
