Ivory Crochet Hook

This ivory crochet hook was manufactured before 1900. Crochet comes from the French word for little hook. Crochet hooks are made in different sizes according to the size of the thread. The hook draws the thread through knotted loops to form a chain stitch. They have been in use since the early 1800s. It is in excellent condition.
Measurements: Length - 2 3/4 inches (7 cm): Weight - 4 gm.
