Wedgwood Imari Demitasse
This fine bone china demitasse is decorated with a lovely flower and leaf pattern in Imari colours. We do not know the name of the pattern. Most of the pattern is outlined with gilt as are the rims of both and the handle of the cup. The cup and saucer are an octagonal shape. There is a written number Y995 on the base of both. They have the Portland Vase Wedgwood mark which dates the set to between 1878 and 1891. The mark on the saucer is blue and that on the cup is orange. Both pieces are in mint condition and ring very well.
Measurements: Height cup – 2 ¼ inches (5.5 cm): Diameter saucer – 4 inches (10 cm).
