Royal Albert Heirloom Bone China Tennis Set

This beautiful bone china tennis set is decorated with the Royal Albert pattern titled Heirloom. It features a design in Imari colours. It has a border of cobalt blue with bright gilt framed cartouches containing burnt orange and diamond shaped roses. The pattern is shown on the inside and outside of the cup and around the edge of the plate and saucer. Each piece has a gilt edge to the rim. The foot of the cup, the handle, the rim of the plate and the tab are all edged with gilt. This is a fine example of Royal Albert ceramics. The backstamp is marked Royal Albert Bone China England Heirloom and was used after 1945. They are in mint condition and ring true when tapped.
Measurements: Height cup - 2 1/4 inches (6 cm): Diameter top cup - 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm): Diameter plate - 8 1/4 inches (20.5 cm).
