Greek Pattern Dishes

Two Greek pattern dishes

These two identical dishes are decorated in the very popular blue and white Greek pattern. They have a wavy edge. They depict some of the subjects that were seen on Greek vases excavated from the Etruscan tombs near Naples and brought to England by Sir William Hamilton. They are not reproductions. The backstamp dates them to 1914. There is also an impressed mark on the back of each. They are in excellent condition with no wear or damage and ring very well.
Measurements: Diameter – 5 ½ inches (14 cm).
