Masons Ashworth Floral Ironstone Plate

This excellent Ironstone plate features a dark blue vase in the centre with many orange coloured flowers surrounded by a rim trimmed with dark blue enamel. The border has many more flowers in various colours. The backstamp is for Ashworth and brothers. The partnership of Taylor Ashworth and Francis Morley had acquired the Masons company and manufactured under their names from
1858 until the early 1900s. There is a date mark indicating manufacture in 1914. It is in excellent condition with no damage and rings very well.
Measurement: Diameter – 9 ½ inches (23.5 cm).
