Wedgwood Edinburg Rimmed Bowl

This lovely earthenware bowl is decorated with a pattern titled Edinburg. It features a grey-blue and white scene with an inset of a castle on a lake. This is surrounded by a flower arrangement in a vase with branches of blossoms and five birds. The rim is decorated with a zigzag geometric pattern. On the base is the printed pattern name Edinburg and the impressed makers mark for Wedgwood as well as impressed date letters HFL indicating manufacture in 1883. The bowl has a few faint utensil marks which can only be seen when held to the light. Otherwise, it is in excellent condition with no damage and rings true when tapped.
