Pair Aynsley Demitasses in Sterling Silver Holders. These two very dainty Aynsley demitasses are decorated with swags of pink roses and green leaves. The cups have a cobalt blue band under the scalloped gilt rim. The cups are set in fancy sterling silver holders with handles. The saucers are also decorated with swags of roses on a white background. The rims have a band of cobalt blue with a scalloped gilt edge. The backstamp was used between 1905 and 1825. There is a pattern number 12600 on the saucers. The sterling silver mounts are hallmarked with a crown for Sheffield and date letter b for 1919. They are in mint condition and ring true when tapped. The silver holders need polishing but we will leave this to the purchaser. Both can be purchased or just one at half price (but same postage). Measurements: Height cup - 2 1/4 inches (6 cm): Diameter top cup - 2 inches (5 cm): Diameter saucer - 4 1/2 inches (11 cm). 7542-232
