Daguerrotype of Young Lady in Formal Pose

This daguerreotype is of a young lady in a formal pose dressed in a long taffeta gown. It is set in the beautiful brass frame. The leatherette case has a fancy oval pattern on both sides, and on one side has a dark green pattern lining. Unfortunately, the two sides are not connected but it could be easily repaired as it still has its two tiny hooks and eyes.
Measurements: Height - 4 3/4 inches (11.5 cm): Width - 3 3/4 inches (9 cm): Weight - 5 1/2 oz (160 gm).
