Royal Doulton Bunnykins Cricket Game Bread and Butter Plate

This Bunnykins scene is titled "Cricket Game". It was designed by Walter Hayward, and it was introduced in 1952 and withdrawn by 1967. Barbara Vernon's facsimile signature is to be found on the bottom left hand corner. The back shows the early coloured Bunnykins backstamp which dates the piece to the early 1950s. There is a very fine white line on the head of the batsmen and wicket-keeper where we think that the transfer has not fully taken. Otherwise the plate is in excellent condition and rings extremely well.
