Mabel Lucie Attwell Cowboy James Bowl

This charming little Shelley bone china child bowl is decorated with an illustration by the well-known children's artist Mabel Lucie Attwell. It features a little boy on his pony. He is dressed as a cowboy and is waving a whip around in the air. A verse is printed on the side of the bowl and reads "Here’s Cowboy James, All up to his games!". It has the Mabel Lucie Attwell facsimile signature beneath the scene. The bowl has some faint utensil marks on the surface which can only be seen when held to the light. Otherwise it is in very good condition and rings very well when tapped.
