Aynsley Convolvulus Demitasse This very dainty bone china Aynsley demitasse is decorated with a pattern titled Convolvulus. These flowers are coloured deep pink with a touch of yellow. The stems and leaves of the vines are light brown. The rims of the cup and saucer are highlighted with bright gilt. As well as the Aynsley backstamp which was used from 1891 to 1910 there is a registration mark 169873 indicating that they were manufactured after 1891. There are a couple of light utensil marks on the wall of the saucer and a 5 mm whitish mark near the edge of the saucer seen when held to the light. Otherwise, they are in excellent condition with no damage and ring very well. Measurements: Height cup - 2 inches (5 cm): Diameter top cup – 2 ¼ inches (5.5 cm): Diameter saucer – 4 ¾ inches (12 cm).
