Cockatrice Cup and Saucer

This fine bone china cup and saucer is decorated with the popular pattern titled "Cockatrice". The border is a different colourway. It has a series of light brown little circles and dots with four white cartouches with bunches of colourful fruit in the centres. The cockatrice is coloured pink-red and is featured in the centre of the saucer. It is surrounded by a circle of pink and mauve flowers. The cup has the same coloured border and there are two cartouches, each decorated with the cockatrice and surrounded by colourful flowers. The rim of the cup and saucer is outlined in dark green enamel, as is the handle of the cup. We believe this is the typical Cockatrice pattern made by Minton's, but they do not have the maker’s mark. The cup and saucer both have a written number on the base 03-25.  We would be pleased to hear from anyone who knows if these are Minton numbers or the date mark. They are in excellent condition with no damage and ring true when tapped.
Measurements: Height cup – 2 inches (5 cm): Diameter top cup – 3 ¼ inches (8.5 cm): Diameter saucer – 5 ½ inches (13.5 cm).
