Cauldon Cobalt Floral Trio
This magnificent bone china trio is decorated with a pattern consisting of cobalt borders on each piece trimmed with a gilt pattern. The inside of the cup and the saucer and plate are decorated with an intricate fern like gilt pattern interspersed with sprays of brightly coloured flowers on a white background. The centre of each piece also has a rounded cobalt border with a spray of the same flowers in the middle. The rims of each piece are edged with bright gilt as is the scroll handle. The printed Cauldon Ltd backstamp was used between 1905 and 1920. There is a pattern number 3719. They are in mint condition with no damage and ring true when tapped. Measurements: Height cup - 1 1/2 inches (4 cm): Diameter top cup - 3 1/2 inches (9 cm): Diameter saucer - 5 1/2 inches (14 cm): Diameter plate - 7 inches (16 cm).
