Cobalt Blue and Gilt Plate

This heavy bone china plate is decorated with a very striking pattern of cobalt, white and gilt. The background is cobalt blue. Under the rim there are garlands of gilt interspersed with white and gilt flowers. There is a circle with a white background in the centre of the plate with a gilt flower shaped pattern on this. There is a faint number written on the back. There appears to be a few impressed dots in the centre of the base. There are no other marks. We do not know the maker of this very attractive plate and would appreciate having hearing from anyone who could identify the make of the item. There are a few slight utensil marks on the surface which can only be seen when held to the light. Otherwise it is in very good condition and rings very well.
