Aynsley Cobalt Blue and Floral Demitasse

This beautiful bone china Aynsley demitasse is decorated with a deep cobalt blue border in which there are cartouches, two on the cup and three on the saucer. These are surrounded by fancy scrolled gilt borders. These cartouches contain colourful floral sprays. The rims and the handle are also trimmed with a gilt pattern. The backstamp was used between 1905 and 1925. There is also a mark for Maple London presumably having been made for the store that was then in Tottenham Court Road. They are in excellent condition with no damage and ring true when tapped.
Measurements: Height cup - 2 inches (5 cm): Diameter cup - 2 inches (5 cm): Diameter saucer - 4 1/4 inches (10.5 cm).
