Chinoiserie  Wig Stand

This unusual wig stand is painted black and is decorated with a primitive handpainted gilt chinoiserie pattern on the top and the base. The column has a turned shape and the middle 5cm band is gilded. The stand is in good condition, but the column is slightly wobbly on the base. The undersurface of the base is covered in a type of leatherette and is slightly worn.
Measurements: Height – 9 inches (23 cm): Diameter top – 3 ¾ inches (9.5 cm): Diameter base – 5 inches (13 cm). (The cellphone is to indicate size).
