Bristol Ware Willow Pattern Trio
This earthenware Willow Pattern trio was made by the potters Pountney and Co in Bristol. The backstamp was introduced in the early 1930s and there is an impressed date mark for June 1931. The cup has some light crazing. The saucer is in excellent condition. The plate is also in excellent condition but there is one spot on the rim at about 4 o’clock where the transfer did not cover the edge. They all ring very well.
Measurements: Height cup – 2 ½ inches (6.5 cm): Diameter cup – 3 ½ inches (9 cm): Diameter saucer – 5 ½ inches (14 cm): Diameter plate – 6 ½ inches (16.5 cm).
