Royal Albert Bramble Cake Plate
This bone china cake plate is decorated with a pattern called Bramble. It has a pretty pastel design with a stem of berries that are pinky mauve and blue in colour with green leaves. There is a mauve fence and tree in the background. The edge of the plate is outlined in bright gilt. The Royal Albert backstamp indicates that it was manufactured between 1935 and 1945. The plate has a few fine utensil marks seen when held to the light. Otherwise it is in excellent condition and rings very well.
Measurements: Width – 9 ½ inches (24 cm): Height – 8 ½ inches (21.5 cm).
