Wedgwood Blue Octagonal Plate

This colourful Wedgwood octagonal plate is decorated with what appears to be a Middle Eastern scene in the centre. It features a blue and white background with three figures beside a river in the foreground and a city in the background. One half of the scene has a colourful floral pattern. The 3 cm rim has three floral cartouches and in between are three patterns of four red arches. The rim of the plate is edged with bright green. There is an impressed Wedgwood backstamp which dates the plate to the early 1800s. There are also impressed initials CT.
It is in excellent condition with no damage and rings true when tapped.
Measurement: Width - 8 1/4 inches (21 cm).
