Bisto Bone China Demitasse
This dainty blue china demitasse is decorated with a cobalt blue and gilt pattern. There are raised dots of gilt on much of the gilding. The rims of the cup and saucer are highlighted in bright gilt and the handle is gilded. The backstamp Bisto England printed on the base of each indicates the date of manufacture after 1936 – Bisto is an abbreviation for Bishop and Stonier. They are both in excellent condition with no damage and ring very well.
Measurements: Height cup – 2 inches (5 cm): Diameter cup – 2 inches (5 cm): Diameter saucer – 4 inches (10 cm).
