Beswick Joan Walsh Anglund Boy with Flowers Figure

This figure is titled Boy with Flowers. It was designed by Albert Hallam based on illustrations by Joan Walsh Angland. She was born in suburban Chicago in 1926 and had a long career as a writer and illustrator of some 75 children's books with total sales in excess of 40 million copies. Beswick designed three figures based on her designs between 1969 and 1971 and these have become relatively rare and collectable. It is in excellent condition with no damage and rings very well.
Measurements: Height – 4 inches (10 cm): Diameter brim hat – 2 inches (5 cm).
