Shelley Bands Trio

This striking Art Deco Shelley bone china trio are decorated with a pattern titled Bands. There are bands of green of different lengths part way around the edges of the saucer and plate and inside rim of the cup. There is a wide gilt band under each green band. The handle and the foot are also edged with bright gilt. The shape is Eve. The pattern number is 12480. The Shelley backstamp was used between 1925 and 1945. There is a registration number 756533 on the base of the cup indicating manufacture after 1930, but they were entered into the pattern book in 1936. They are in mint condition and ring very well.
Measurements: Height cup - 3 inches (7.5 cm): Diameter top cup - 3 1/2 inches (9 cm): Diameter saucer - 5 1/2 inches (14 cm): Diameter plate - 6 3/4 inches (17 cm).
