Shelley Apple Blossom Cake Plate

This fine bone china cake plate is decorated with the Shelley pattern titled Apple Blossom. This is a very dainty pattern with deep and pale pink and white blossoms with pale green leaves and green branches. The plate has a white background and the tabs are pink, edged with silver. The edges of the plate are outlined in pink. The shape of the plate is called Eve. The pattern number is 12287. The backstamp indicates that the plate was manufactured between 1925 in 1940.There are a few faint utensil marks which can only been seen when held to the light. Otherwise it is in fine condition and rings very well.
Measurements: Width tab to tab – 9 ¾ inches (24.5 cm).
