Royal Doulton Anne Anderson Plate
This small bone china Nursery Ware plate is decorated with the rhyme “Simple Simon went a fishing”.  The series was designed in the style of the Illustrator Anne Anderson.  It was introduced in 1916 and withdrawn by 1940. The backstamp indicates that it was manufactured in 1932. The plate is in good condition apart from a few white marks on the figures and some light utensil marks.  It rings very well when tapped.
Measurements: Diameter – 7 inches (17.5 cm).
