Royal Doulton Anne Anderson Nursery Ware Bowl
This small bone china Nursery Ware bowl is decorated with the scene and the rhyme “Polly put the kettle on”. The series was designed in the style of the illustrator Anne Anderson. The pattern was introduced in 1916 and withdrawn in 1940. The date mark 8 indicates that this piece was manufactured in 1935. It is in mint condition with no damage and rings very well.
Measurements: Height – 1 ½ inches (3.5 cm): Diameter – 5 ¾ inches (14.5 cm).
