Anne Anderson Nursery Rhymes Trio

Royal Doulton Anne Anderson Nursery Rhymes Trio

This bone china child's cup, saucer and plate are decorated with the nursery rhymes "Polly put the kettle on", "Goosey, Goosey, Gander" and "the Queen of Hearts, she made some tarts". These illustrations are in the style of the artist Anne Anderson. The three pieces have the Royal Doulton backstamp and the plate has an impressed date mark 2-7-34 which indicates that it was manufactured on 2 July 1934. The edges of the cup and saucer are scalloped but the plate has a plain edge. The trio is in mint condition and all ring very well.
Measurements: Height cup – 2 inches (5 cm): Diameter top cup – 3 inches (7.5 cm): Diameter saucer – 4 ¾ inches (11 cm): Diameter plate – 5 ¼ inches (13 cm).
