Aynsley Anenomes Cup and Saucer
This bone china cup and saucer are decorated with a very striking pattern. They have a black background and feature sprays of brightly coloured anenomes with green leaves and red buds. The inside of the cup is white with a bright gilt line under the rim, which is also edged with gilt as is the rim of the saucer. The foot of the cup has a gilt border. The handle is trimmed with gilt as well. There is an Aynsley backstamp used after 1934 and a pattern number B4824. The two pieces are in mint condition and ring very well. Measurements: Height cup - 2 1/2 inches (6.5 cm): Diameter top cup - 3 inches (7.5 cm): Diameter saucer - 5 inches (12.5 cm).
