Art Nouveau Aide Memoir

This art nouveau silver plated aide memoir is decorated with an embossed floral design and has a chain attached. The case contains a notepad of four natural leaves with a metal back together with a receptacle for a pencil on one side. It is marked D.R.G.M.S. This was a German patent mark (Deutsches Reich Geschmacksmuster) for silver plated copper ware. The mark was introduced around 1900 and withdrawn in 1945. It is in excellent condition with no damage.
Measurements: Height - 3 inches (7.5 cm): Width - 1 3/4 inches (4.5 cm): Weight - 2 1/2 oz (75 gm).
