Encased Advertising Mirror with Embossed Maiden

This dainty metal encased oval mirror is advertising French perfumes. The cover has an embossed head and shoulders of a young maiden. The cover slides open to reveal a mirror. The back of this has the names of four perfumes: “Parfums Tiliola, Sola Mia, Pampres D’or, Enigma". The metal back has a coat of arms and under this is written.” “Offert par la Parfumerie Lubin Paris” which indicates that the mirror was a complimentary gift offered from the firm of Lubin perfumery. This firm was established in 1793. The perfumes date from the 1920s. The front cover is lightly scratched it is in very good condition.
Measurements: Height – 2 ¼ inches (5.5 cm): Width – 1 ½ inches (4 cm).
