Royal Doulton Bunnykins 65th Anniversary Mug in Box

This delightful earthenware Rex mug was manufactured by Royal Doulton in 2001 to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Bunnykins series in 2002. On one side is a scene titled Drummer. On the other side is a scene titled Drummer and Bugler. On the side opposite the handle is a circular mark Royal Doulton Bunnykins Nurseryware 65th Anniversary and in its centre is a bunny and 1937-2002. Sister Mary Barbara or Barbara Vernon who established the series passed away the following year in 2003 at the age of 92 (see Article). This was a limited series of 325 as shown on the backstamp and this mug is No. 104 as shown on the label on the top of the box. The mug (and the box) are in mint condition.
Measurements: Height mug - 2 3/4 inches (7 cm): Height box - 4 inches (10 cm): Diameter base mug - 3 inches (7.5 cm).
